Here is an original recipe, I didn't come from there empty handed :). My waffles will all have the shape of Mickey :))), but they are sensational!

  • 300 g flour
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 sachet baking powder (10 g)
  • 300 g butter
  • 5 eggs

Servings: 20

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Belgian Waffe:

Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl. Add soft butter and eggs and mix well. the result is a thicker dough that does not flow.

Heat the waffle maker and put the dough with a spoon. Immediately the butter begins to melt and with the help of a spoon spread well over the entire surface of the form. Bake for 4 minutes.

They can be eaten plain, powdered with sugar or with different toppings and whipped cream. Delicious!


Belgian waffles

1. Dissolve the yeast, together with a spoonful of sugar, in warm milk, then let the composition rise for 10 minutes.
2. Beat the egg whites until they become a light foam. In another bowl, mix the milk in which you dissolved the yeast with the yolks, remaining sugar, melted butter, vanilla, flour and salt.
3. Incorporate the egg whites into the composition with the spatula milk, using movements from the bottom up, then let the composition grow warm.
4. When the dough has risen, preheat the waffle maker and pour about 2-3 tablespoons for each waffle, then cook until golden brown.
5. Serve Belgian waffles with fruit, chocolate, whipped cream, etc.

✽ If you want to serve Belgian waffles for breakfast, but you don't have enough time in the morning to prepare and wait for the dough to rise, prepare it in the evening and leave it in the fridge, covered with foil. It will grow slower, and the morning will be perfect for a delicious breakfast.

WAFFE WITH POST VANILLA

Waffle with fasting vanilla, also known as waffles / waffles / waffles / waffles, are delicious even without eggs, butter or milk.

Waffles / waffles with fasting vanilla they are perfect for those who fast or for those who have a vegan lifestyle.

They are slightly crispy on the outside, with a soft and fluffy core, aromatic and very tasty. I love Waffe / Waffle. When I was in Belgium they had the first thing I ate.

I think these are the best known Belgian brand. Whether they have thick or thin dough, they are baked in a special machine or mold, with a checkered pattern. I'm unmistakable!

Belgian waffles are known all over the world. They have been present in Belgian cuisine since the Middle Ages and were originally made from a mixture of barley and oats.

They became famous due to the inventor of the baked appliance, when he presented the appliance and the delicious waffles in a fair in New York, in 1964.

You can find them everywhere in Belgium (even in the Netherlands or Germany) and you will be able to notice the differences between Brussels waffles (thinner) and Liege waffles (thick as muffin dough).

I haven't used the waffle maker for some time, so I decided to prepare a very quick dessert for my family, but also a new recipe for those who are fasting during this period.

You can prepare fasting waffles with vanilla for breakfast or for a sweet snack.

They are very tasty, have good ingredients, contain organic vegetable milk, vanilla and orange flavors. They can be enjoyed even by those who do not fast, because I guarantee you that they will not realize that these waffles / waffles with fasting vanilla do not have eggs, butter or milk.

I told you above that I wanted to make a quick dessert. Preparing the dough does not take long (maximum 2 minutes), but it needs a short break in which it stays in the refrigerator.

If you do not have such an electrical appliance or a mold in which to bake them in the oven, you can make them very quickly in the pan, as you prepare fluffy American pancakes & pancakes.

Starting from this idea, but also from the fact that I am post waffle, I used as topping some fruits, maple syrup, and as decoration some axes freshly picked from the garden. If you want to use flowers as a decoration, you can only put edible flowers! You can only powder with sugar, although they do not need it. If you do not have plow syrup in the house, you can use bee honey.

That being said, I leave you with the list of ingredients and how to prepare waffles / fasting waffles with vanilla.

INGREDIENT:

1 sachet of vanilla bourbon sugar

1/2 teaspoon orange peel powder or 1 teaspoon grated orange peel

100 ml rice milk with coconut & # 8211 NOT use coconut milk from metal cans!

1 tablespoon oil for greased form

To be served:

I put in a bowl the solid ingredients: flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, orange peel powder, vanilla bourbon sugar. I poured the liquids over them: mineral water, oil and coconut rice milk.

I mixed well and put the bowl in the fridge for 30 minutes.

I preheated the waffle / waffle maker, greased both plates with oil, then poured a smaller dough polish into the center. I turned off the device and left it until they browned. My appliance bakes them in 2-3 minutes, but I think each appliance has different baking times.

They are delicious! You have to try them too.

Belgian vanilla waffles / Belgian vanilla waffles

Because my boyfriend doesn't kill himself on low-carb recipes, no sugar, no gluten and so on, I'm preparing and simple, traditional dishes, for the whole family. I don't just cook new things, not to mention strange :)) And because I fell in love with the waffle maker, I tested the basic recipe for Belgian waffles (waffles, waffles), fluffy and very tasty. We all really liked it, especially Ilincai :)

Ingredient (12 pcs):

  • 2 eggs
  • 100g melted butter
  • 200g white flour
  • 150ml milk
  • 2 lg brown sugar / honey / maple syrup *
  • 1/2 lgt baking powder
  • 1/2 lgt vanilla extract

Heat the waffle maker for 5 minutes before we get to work. Put all the ingredients in the blender and mix well, until you get a thick homogeneous composition, like whipped milk. I do them many times with the goal :)

We put the composition with the ice cream spoon in the device and let it do its job, about 2-3 minutes, depending on the device and dimensions.

When the waffles are quite brown, we take them out of the machine and repeat the procedure until we finish the composition. We serve them hot with what we want, we enjoyed them with Greek yogurt, strawberries and honey :) Great appetite!

*Baby-friendly: sweetened with just a little maple syrup or honey (+ 1 year), optional.

ENGLISH VERSION

My husband is not a fan of low carb, gluten-free etc, so I cook regular traditional meals, too. I don & # 8217t cook just these fancy foods on my blog, strange to some people :)) And because I am in love with my new waffle maker, I tried the classic vanilla Belgian waffles, super fluffy and tasty, we all loved them, especially Ilinca :)

Ingredients (12 pcs):

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g melted butter
  • 200 g all purpose flour
  • 150 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar * (maple syrup for baby-friendly version)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

First of all turn the waffle iron on 5 min before. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and slightly thick. I very often use just a whisk :) Pour the batter with an ice cream scoop into the preheated iron and cook for 2-3 min, depending on the device type.

When the waffles are done, carefully put on a plate and repeat with the rest of the batter. Serve warm with whatever you like, we had them with Greek yogurt, strawberries and honey :) Enjoy!

Salted waffles with cheese & # 8211 appetizer. How are waffles made at home? A recipe for homemade waffles with lots of cheese and cumin, perfect to be trimmed as such, hot or cold or to be decorated with cream cheese.

I remembered that I hadn't made homemade waffles in a while. I used to have a very good device, received since 1980 from Italy, which lasted until 2006 as if. Museum article no other! And it was still used in my parents' house, then I took it with me and, being a student, he was a good friend of mine. I used it many years after college. When it broke down, I bought a smaller waffle maker that I forgot about for a while.

Today I remembered how many kinds of waffles I made: simple sweets (recipe here) or with chocolate topping, whipped cream and fruit but also salted waffles, with lots of cheese.

In the composition of these salted waffles you can put different types of cheese (cheese, drier telemea, pecorino cheese, cheese with white or blue mold) and various aromatic herbs: dried basil, thyme, rosemary, etc. I seasoned them with cumin. You can also put small cubes of kaiser or smoked ham in them or even sauteed mushrooms.

A suitable topping for these salty waffles would be cream cheeses (recipes here) & # 8211 with dill or cumin and paprika.

From the quantities below we obtained 4 pieces (large).


Basic recipe for sweet and savory waffles

Today's recipe is for breakfast lovers, where family members have different preferences. I offer you a basic recipe for delicious waffles, which can be prepared both sweet and salty.

With a minimum of effort you can have a breakfast for both those who prefer sweet and for those who prefer a salty breakfast.

The combinations are unlimited, in both variants. In the dough for the salty ones you can add all sorts of flavors, greens, vegetables, bacon, salmon or whatever comes to mind and various toppings. You can make the sweet ones simple or with fruit / chocolate and season them with all sorts of sauces, fresh fruit or ice cream.

We need (12 waffles): 350 g flour, 320 g whipped milk, 2 eggs, 5 g baking powder, 1 salt powder, 50 g melted butter

Mix the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt, then add the beaten eggs and milk, mix with a whisk, and finally add the melted butter. Do not mix too much, just enough to blend everything.

Now it's time to divide the composition into two bowls.

For salted waffles add 50 g grated cheese / parmesan, 50 g chopped bacon, frozen peas, ½ teaspoon salt, chopped dill and mix with a spoon.

For sweet waffles, add 50 g of sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence and 50 g of chopped chocolate and mix.

Bake the waffles until golden brown in the special appliance.

We used as topping for the salted egg yolk and fried bacon, respectively cream cheese, salmon fillet and poached egg, and for the sweet ones: caramel sauce, condensed milk and bananas.
